ST-601 SLOW TRACK

SLOW TRACK is a polymeric grit coating additive for waterborne and solventborne sealers, finishes and coatings. Addition of SLOW TRACK will add traction to the sealer, particularly if the floor becomes wet or oily. SLOW TRACK is intended to be mixed in and applied with the sealer, and is not intended for casting onto the wet applied sealer. SLOW TRACK can be easily mixed into both waterborne and solventborne sealers. SLOW TRACK is not recommended for use in high build coatings.

For solventborne sealers, 100 grams SLOW TRACK per gallon of sealer is usually sufficient – 200 grams per gallon for waterborne sealers.

Before application, add SLOW TRACK to the coating and mechanically stir thoroughly for 3 to 5 minutes until a uniform mix is created with no clumping of particles. Drill mixing with a paint strirrer is recommended. To maintain a consistent mix throughout application, hand stir the mixture periodically.

For best results and for even distribution of SLOW TRACK particles in the coating, methodically apply a medium coat with a roller, applying the mix as evenly as possible. Note: SLOW TRACK need not be added to all coats of sealer. If multiple coats of sealer are to be applied, SLOW TRACK should be added to the final coat only.
