FS-600 WATER BASE SEAL

FS-600 is intended for interior sealing of vinyl composition and other resilient flooring, but also is excellent for sealing terrazzo, concrete and porous stone surfaces. FS-600 provides as excellent base for floor polish and, because of its high solids content, the sealed floor will require fewer coats of floor polish to attain the desired appearance. The result will be increased economy in maintenance. Although primarily a sealer, FS-600 has the gloss, durability, and scuff and scratch resistance to function as a stand-alone, low maintenance floor finish, if desired. FS-600 is safe for use on surfaces not affected by water (do not use on un-sealed wood, cork, etc.). FS-600 exceeds the Coefficient of Friction safety standards of ASTM Designation D-2047.

APPLICATION - Apply medium coats with a good quality rayon or synthetic blend string mop, or microfiber applicator. Two coats, particularly on a porous floor, are usually necessary for complete sealing and an even, consistent appearance. After the seal is dry, the floor may be further protected with a floor polish, e.g., SURTEC FP-575 or STATEMENT, if the maintenance program requires it.

STRIPPING - Although FS-600 is a seal, it has “built-in” removability and can be stripped with SURTEC L.O.S., SUPER STRIP or THORO-STRIP.
