Description
FP-575 is a high solids floor polish designed to achieve maximum gloss quickly and maintain it for extra-long periods of time. Each coat provides a clear, durable film for the protection of floor surfaces. The high solids, metal interlock system allows a floor to achieve beauty and protection rapidly. FP-575 is the product of choice for heavy foot traffic, low maintenance environments such as airports, transit stations, restaurants and convenience stores. FP-575 exceeds the Coefficient of Friction safety standards of ASTM Designation D-2047.
Directions
APPLICATION - Use standard application procedures with a good quality rayon or synthetic blend string mop, or flat pad microfiber, applying thin to medium coats of FP-575. Allow 30 minutes of dry time between coats or before opening to traffic. Three or more coats in one application period are possible with FP-575 and, on a bare, stripped floor, may be required to achieve the highest level of gloss.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE - Use SURTEC HC-150 or LF-150 Heavy Duty Cleaners at 1 or 2 ozs. per gallon of water for routine maintenance by damp mopping or scrubbing. Occasional high speed buffing of FP-575 will prolong the life of the polish and increase safety and durability, as well as increase shine and appearance. A propane buffer equipped with natural hog hair pads will achieve excellent buffing results, but any good quality high speed (1000+ rpm) buffer will achieve suitable results.
RECOAT - Scrub the floor with a low speed buffer or automatic scrubber and blue or green (medium scrub) pads using HC-150 or LF-150 Heavy Duty Cleaners at a dilution of 2 to 4 ozs. per gallon of water to achieve a clean surface. Rinse the floor with clean water and let dry, then apply one or more coats of FP-575, allowing each coat to dry before applying subsequent coats. Upon drying, the last coat may be high speed buffed if desired.
STRIPPING - If stripping is necessary, use SURTEC L.O.S. or SUPER STRIP according to label directions.
