California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017

In compliance with the online disclosure requirements of the California Cleaning Product Right to Know Act of 2017 (SB- 258), ingredient information can be found in Section 15 of the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) posted for “designated products” as defined by the Act. A “designated product” is defined as “a finished product that is an air care product, automotive product, general cleaning product, or a polish or floor maintenance product used primarily for janitorial, domestic or institutional cleaning purposes. “

The online disclosure requirements of the Act also include providing an electronic link to what the Act refers to as “designated lists”, which are lists created by authoritative bodies of chemical ingredients considered hazardous or of particular concern.
