Most maintenance coatings will not bond to a floor with an aluminum oxide fortified urethane protective coating, typically used on wood flooring in a retail environment. While these floors will last a long time with very little maintenance, when restoration becomes necessary, the entire floor coating needs to be sanded off and resealed. Only then can the floor can be protected with a sealer and maintenance coating.

STEP 1
Using our Polivac Vacuuming Floor Machine, remove the old sealer only
in the worn areas and prepare the remainder of the floor for the application
of Surtec Bond Coat. |

STEP 2
Apply Surtec Bond Coat Sealer to both the sealed floor and the bare wood floor. |

STEP 3
Apply Surtec Hydrothane Matte. Hydrothane Matte is a low gloss, urethane acrylic wood floor coating with catalyst added for superior durability, much
like that of a high performance gym floor coating. |

STEP 4
Finally, apply Surtec Maintenance Floor Finish, available in high gloss, low sheen, or matte finish. |
